What cutoff frequency should be applied for filtering data to produce a smooth representative signal?

Initially go with the default settings of 0, 16 and 10 Hz for displacement, velocity and acceleration. If the signals are too noisy then consider lowering the velocity and/or acceleration cutoffs. Filter cutoff will impact measured variables such as peak velocity and power so it is important not to change the settings between repeat tests.
