Installing FTD2xx.DLL in Windows Folders

In rare instances the Innervations software install package may not be able to copy the file “ftd2xx.dll” to the required Windows system folders. This can result in the error “System.Dll NotFoundException: DLL ‘C:\WINDOWS\System32\ftd2xx.dll’ ” or similar reported by the BMS, KMS, InnerBalance or Pacer software programs.

To fix this error the file “ftd2xx.dll” is downloaded from Software Downloads – Innervations.

Here is a direct link to the file https://www.innervations.com/protected/ftd2xx.zip

Once downloaded, open the Zip file and copy ftd2xx.dll to the folders:

1. C:\Windows\System32
2. C:\Windows\SysWOW64

If one of these folders does not appear under C:\Windows\ then that is ok. Just copy to whichever or both. It depends on how your Windows was installed and setup.
