KMS Wobble Board for Balance Training and Assessment

Previously it has been difficult to accurately assess progress with balance training and rehabilitation. Innervations has added a new switch to our range based on a Wobble board. Detailed information on time ON and OFF balance, number of times balance is lost, and the ON/OFF ratio. One leg standing allows comparison of left and right legs. Provide valuable feedback for therapist and patient.

The Kinematic Measurement System uses the power and ease of Microsoft Windows and the modern personal computer to perform the timing, data analysis, reporting and recording functions as the athlete/patient balances on a wobble board.

After selecting Balance and Stability from the test menu, the following window is displayed. Once the patient is standing on the Wobble board, click Start and the Kinematic Measurement System will record:

number of contacts (lost balance)
frequency of contacts
total ON time (not balanced)
total OFF time (balanced)
ratio of OFF to ON time

Duration of test can be easily set from the options window.

Click Save Trial button and the following report is generated and saved.
